High quality relay buffer to interface between YAESU FT-847 radio and will key *any HF/VHF/UHF amplifier.

The Yaesu FT-847 can only provide for a small amount of current on the external amplifier keying output.
Our box will key ANY amplifier and isolate the sensitive keying circuit inside the FT-847

This relay interface box has the proper 5 pin min-din plug to connect into the STBY jack on the back of the FT-847 for keying HF, VHF and UHF amp. This can also be used to switch mast mounted RF preamplifiers (preamps) instead of an RF power amplifier. The RBI-847 has FOUR completely separate relay circuits to completely isolate each RF power amplifier keying circuit. OPTO isolators for EACH band!

When you are on 6M (50 Mhz) only the 50 MHz amplifier output jack is switched
When you are on 2M (144 Mhz) only the 144 MHz amplifier output jack is switched
When you are on 70cm (430 Mhz) only the 430 MHz amplifier output jack is switched
When you are on HF (1.8-30 Mhz) only the HF amplifier output jack is switched

* Any device or amplifier that needs a closure of contacts to activate

Our box will draw <5 MA from your radio and will key any amplifier. A very handy accessory. Get one BEFORE you damage your radios amplifier keying output!
RCA jacks in and out
Needs 12-15 VDC at only 60 ma!

Relays rated up to 240 VAC at 5 AMPS!
Genuine relay used for switching (not an easy to damage solid state device)
Connector style/color may vary
See separate eBay listing for RCA-RCA male connector cables or ask us for a quote.

Need to switch an HF amplifier? See our ebay listing for many models we make.
Need to key TWO amplifiers? See our eBay store listing for the RBI-2 TWO amplifier keying relay interface

Need to key MORE than two linears? Contact us for custom made amplifier ptt relay keying interfaces. (We just finished a SIX unit amp keying box, keyed from a single radio)

This is not one of those types that make you use a battery to power the unit! This high quality device is power by your station power supply or any filtered DC source from 12-15 VDC (only 60ma required)

When connecting your Radio and Amplifier, there may be switching voltage, polarity, and current incompatibility  that can cause damage to your radio or amplifier if connected without a switching interface between them. Even if your internal radio switching looks like it might be usable, it is wise to have an extra degree of isolation between your amplifier and radio with our relay buffer interface.
