MOVIE ROMANCES Magazine from February, 1932 with Dorothy Dix on the cover.  This magazine was issued from the late 1920s through the early 1930s in a large 10 1/2" x 14" newspaper format.  Published in Chicago by William Fleming French, this one is Volume 7, No. 3.  Copies of this magazine are extremely rare and hard to find because they were printed on cheap newsprint.  I was lucky enough to recently obtain a nice collection of these which I will be listing.

As mentioned, this one has Dorothy Dix on the cover.  Contents include: Editorial by William Fleming French "The Fans Can Help"; "What's Happening in Hollywood"; ad for Wallace Beery and Clark Gable in 'Hell Divers' and Marie Dressler in 'Emma'; "Studio Notes"; full page ad for Howard Hughes 'Cock of the Air' with Chester Morris; "Next to Godliness" with pix of eddie Quillan, Myrna Loy with Warner Baxter, Ken Maynard and Harry Carey; "A Look Behind the Camera from the Hollywood Look-Out"; Full page spread on 'Cock of the Air' with 4 color photos; "A Look Behind the Camera"; "The Junior Fans page" with pix of Babe Ruth, Johnny Weissmuller, and Little people Harry and Daisy Earles; "Winter Fashions: with pix of Anita Page; Reviews of 'Private Lives' with Norma Shearer and Robert Montgomery; 'Touchdown' with Richard Arlen; 'Delicious' with Janet Gaynor and Charles Farrell; 'Susan Lenox - Her Fall and Rose' with Greta Garbo and Clark Gable; and 'Secret Service with Richard Dix; and much more.  All my magazines are complete unless otherwise noted - no clips - and have no musty smell.  This one is in good shape for its age - quite a bit of edge chipping - see photo - all pages present but loose, otherwise OK.  Note address information printed on front cover.

I will pay for Economy Mail shipping.  If you prefer shipping by another method or international shipping, please contact me.

Keep an eye on my listings - more of these rare MOVIE ROMANCES to come.
