'ELIZABETHAN ERA' PLATE

This plate is in lovely condition with no crazing & no obvious signs of usage. There are no utensil marks & the base is clean. It has a tactile, smooth, shiny glaze with under glaze decoration. The only small flaw to mention is a spot on the right hand edge near the tallest turret. It appears to be a burst air bubble with spots of soot. Last photo shows you this flaw. It doesn't detract at all, it's a lovely plate with a beautiful finish. The design takes up the majority of the plate - the fluted edge is outlined in a pretty green. So suited to a wall hanging plate or display plate but is also safe to use for food service.
