The Kron Ares 3.0 is a beautiful 26 inch fully mountain bike for active Adults. This inexpensive, robust bike does everything without complaint and delivers reliable function in every situation.

There are reliable components in the drive. The bike provides 21 gears with which you can make good progress uphill and downhill. There are two easy-to-use twist shifters on the handlebars, and an FD-Q22 front derailleur at the front ensures that the right chainring is selected. The proven Shimano Tourney rear derailleur shifts smoothly through all gears. Once set correctly, the components deliver their switching performance consistently and long-lasting.

The Ares rides on non-slip Mitas MTB tires with a width of 1.95 inches. This gives them enough grip when cornering and on unpaved roads. Nevertheless, the tires can also make good progress on the road. They are mounted on light aluminum rims.

A WORD FROM THE TEAM

We created this Ares 3.0 mountain bike at our B'Twin Village (Lille, Germany) especially for mountain biking enthusiasts.
Recreational mountain bikers told us they wanted comfort, effectiveness and durability. Those features were our starting point as we designed, developed and tested the Ares 3.0 mountain bike, with real riders involved throughout the project.

A LIGHTWEIGHT, COMFORTABLE, FUN FRAME

It isn't always easy to get the right position on a mountain bike. Our designers have created an entirely new frame that is easy to step over.
The 100% steel CGF frame (Comfort Geometry Frame) is both comfortable and easy to handle. The slope angle has been designed to keep your back straighter whilst the rear has been shortened to ensure the bike is very agile when turning.
With a frame size of 42 cm, we recommend the bike for riders with a body size between 165 and 180 cm. So that you can start straight away without long handicrafts, at least 85% of all bicycles are delivered pre-assembled.

V-BRAKES WITH PADS

Two V-Brake pads for effective braking.
These brakes are composed of callipers that exert more or less pressure on the rim to slow or stop the rotation of the wheels.
Thanks to the special design of the Ares 3.0 aluminium brake levers, you only need two fingers to brake.

FULL SUSPENSION

The basis is a full-suspension steel frame with a lowered top tube, which reduces the overhang and makes it easier to get on and off. A pneumatic spring dampens the frame at the rear, while a Zozo suspension fork absorbs shocks at the front. This means that nothing stands in the way of entering the world of full suspension mountain bikes!

We would like to point out that this bike is not equipped with lighting and is therefore not compliant with the road traffic regulations. It is recommended to retrofit accordingly.
