These are replicas (copies) of the first small size $1000 bills issued in 1929. Until 1933, they were actually redeemable in gold coins as noted in the clause above the Federal Reserve seal. This note bears the portrait of Grover Cleveland who was the 22nd and 24th President of the United States. $1000 Bills are no longer in circulation. The US Treasury Department began to withdraw them from circulation in 1969 and none have been printed since 1945.

These are replicas of actual bills, not copies of 2nd hand scans, printed on high quality 100% cotton paper. They are ideal for framing as you can display both sides at the same time. Each side is printed on a separate sheet per eBay policy and to comply with Federal law, LARGER (1.5X) than the actual note. They are not the same size as the original,please do not expect that they be double sided and the same size as a real bill. That is illegal and it is illegal to sell counterfeits. What you see in the picture is what you get. They're as close as you can get without buying the real bill. The blank backs are imprinted with "COPY" These replicas (copies) have no value and are not real money.
