Latin name: Physalis angulata

This species is originated to the tropics of North America and spread over the temperate zone. 
Its berries develop in a small, lantern-shaped calyx. These fruits ripen from July until the first frost. 
They are suitable for raw consumption and for cooking. 
Physalis angulata is used as a remedy in a variety of ways.
