This Turbocharger is BRAND NEW, has never been fitted and is only removed from the box for upgrade and photo purposes. This picture is of the actual Turbocharger. This Turbocharger requires no setting up, calibrating or adjustment. It is ready to fit and then the vehicle mapped. The unit, once fitted and custom mapped together with supporting modifications, will result in 230BHP and bags of torque. This unit starts life as a UK produced quality aftermarket Turbocharger produced by Melett. We fully disassemble the unit before precision CNC machining is completed to install our 56mm GTX style performance billet compressor wheel. With a small nose and hub together with extended tips, this compressor gives unrivalled performance for its size without affecting drive ability. Whilst apart, we replace the turbine shaft with our strengthened "thick" turbine shaft which we cut back the turbine wheel to further increase flow, the standard thrust bearing replaced with out "Hi-Boost" option together with the oil seal being upgraded to a total closure staggered seal. Once assembled, we high speed balance to higher operational speeds than the original with a much lower imbalance level ensuring the Turbo is as reliable as can be. Finally the completed Turbo is mounted to our flow bench and set up to ensure correct operation is met with maximum efficiency without potential for over boost.
