Thousand-headed leaf cabbage - Kale 

Latin name: Brassica oleracea 

Large cabbage - over 1 m (4 ft) high, with large, lobed leaves. 

It is originated to France. It winterhardy, young flowering shoots can be prepared in the spring like broccoli. 

This cabbage forms countless side shoots (heads), therefore probably its name.
