    • SPI Continues to offer the best in Aftermarket performance braking components. When looking for brake pads, the key thing to remember is the coefficient of friction rating for that pad. This is a 2 letter rating system (see graph below). The first letter is the cold temp coefficient rating and the second letter is the hot temp coefficient. The higher the letters, the higher the coefficient of friction.

  • Our full-metal pads are composed of copper, carbon, tin, lead and other metallic elements.
  • Dot Rating: GG.
  • Coefficient of friction (C.F.) at 250F & 600F: 0.45-0.50 at both temps, fading very rare.
  • General Applications: This pad is great for most conditions, as it will bed quicker on worn disc. This rating is great for performance applications.
