DESCRIPTION

Scuffs ultra are a medium weight bond on rim protection and styling product. Improved for 2020, Scuffs ultra also now have the latest VHB (very high bond) tape from 3M factory installed. Scuffs are made from our own custom material blend and have a fitting guide lip on the top side to aid perfect installation. Supplied in 4 x 1.9 metre lengths, Scuffs fit wheels up to 22" in diameter and are cut to the size required during installation. Supplied with wheel cleaning wipes and 3M adhesion promoter.

Scuffs Ultra are a medium weight bond on rim protection and styling product. Made from Santoprene by Exxon Mobil, which is a very high quality material that has the appearance and feel of rubber. This material is extremely abrasion resistant and resistant to chemicals. Scuffs Ultra have a fitting guide lip on the top side to aid easy installation. Fitted with our highest quality VHB tape from 3M Automotive. Supplied as 4 x 1.9 metre lengths to fit wheels up to and including 22” and are trimmed to size during fitment. Supplied with wheel cleaning wipes and adhesion promoters.

 

SUITABILITY

Scuffs require a 7mm wide minimum mounting surface. They will fit flat edged wheels and those with a lip that has a flat surface to it. Not suitable for refurbished wheels. They will also fit wheel that have a gentle curve to the face as long as the wheels have a sharp top edge.

We've had the fakes tested by 3M, who state the 3M branded tape used by these companies is also fake. It really annoys us when we see our products receive negative reports when the customer has actually bought a fake.
