Wild cherry is originated to Europe. It is a large, attractive ornamental tree. 

Its fruits are small, spherical, aromatic and bittersweet. 

They ripen from green through yellow to black and red. 

They are prepared as jams, jellies and compotes, used for baking, juices or fruit wine. 

Cherry brandy is made from the natural juice of wild cherry with almonds.
