The Evva EPS 3 Star Snap Resistant Double Euro is a high security cylinder with a high resistance to bumping, snapping, picking and drilling. This cylinder is tested to EN 1634-1 meaning that they have been tested on a fire resistant steel door and are rated to 90 minutes fire and smoke resistance.
EVVA's anti-snap option will make any front door impenetrable. Even professionals are unable to open this hardened steel solution. Its function is simple, yet highly effective: The cylinder simply snaps at a rated break point in the event of a snapping attempt. The attack is registered and the remaining cylinder is blocked and rendered unusable. At this point, there is no way of breaking in without having to use a loud drilling machine. Key duplication or additional cylinders can only be obtained after producing the security card.
EPS is a spring-loaded pin system with 6 active, spring-loaded scanning elements and offers up to 20 additional side codings. The keys' integrated manipulation control within the cylinder and the dual-action locking pins offer a high level of security. The EPS key is a strong nickel silver key with large key cross-section. This makes it wear-resistant and long-lasting. The distinctive side coding and associated, integrated manipulation control make it even more secure. Thanks to the robust length profile and optimized lower milling grooves, the EPS key is particularly easy to insert.
