Fern-leaf dropwort

Latin name: Filipendula vulgaris

Fern-leaf dropwort is native to almost all parts of Europe.
As an upright, rosette-like growing perennial, this plant reaches heights of 20-50 cm (8-20 in).
In summer it pushes its spiral-like flowers out of the finely pinnate leaf rosettes.
It blooms from late spring to mid-summer with small, creamy white flowers.
Its leaves and tubers can be used raw or cooked to make salad.
In traditional medicine, this plant is used in many ways as a remedy.
