Francis Hubens

A stunning French 1930 art deco chandelier in nickel plated solid brass or bronze by the famous Paris based company of Francis Hubens. A beautiful mount holds six slip shades in clear frosted molded-pressed glass.

Francis Hubens was producer of art deco lighting in Paris (at 68 rue des Archives). He mainly used Degué made shades. The slip shades are signed Hubens and marked Degue Compiegne 618 on the rim. Note the beautiful match of the decoration of shades and bronze mount. A rare masterpiece of French art deco lighting.

The chandelier has a drop of 59,5 cm (23,4 inches) and a diameter of 63 cm (24,8").  It is in excellent condition. The fixture has been re-nickeled and patinated and it is newly wired. It holds six American candelabra base sockets. For European countries I will place E14 ones.

Free worldwide shipping. The chandelier will be shipped in several parcels with full insurance by priority airmail.
