All discs are SHM CDs (stands for "Super High Material") that are sought after by many collectors because of SHM's reputation for producing the best sound quality available from CDs. All CD players play SHM CDs. Another great feature is that each title looks and feels like a well-crafted book, complete with lining notes in English and Japanese. Very cool. The DVD is also housed in the same bound way, but without lining notes. Overall, a very impressive presentation.
