USPS First Day of Issue Ceremony Program for the dedication of Scott #4742 Rosa Parks commemorative forever stamp, Civil Rights set (Emancipation Proclamation - Freedom, Rosa Parks - Courage, March on Washington - Equality), FDOI, February 4, 2013, Detroit, Michigan and Dearborn, Michigan.  Ceremonies were held at two official cities: Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History (Detroit) and Henry Ford Museum (Dearborn).  As a result this program has two first day city cancellations and two ceremony program inserts.  "Soon after the boycott ended, Parks moved to Detroit, Michigan.  She joined the 1963 march on Washington and returned to Alabama in 1965 to join the march from Selma to Montgomery... Upon her death in 2005, she became the first woman and second African American to lie in honor in the U.S. Capitol Rotunda in Washington, D.C."  Program measures 9" x 6".
