Vintage Norleans Hand Made, Hand Painted Frosted White Satin Glass FOOTED Trinket Jar with Lid.  Trimmed in gold, the original label is on the base and the remnant of the original price tag is inside the lid.  The dish measures 5 3/4" high without the lid, with the lid it is 8" high.  The opening at the top is 3 1/8" diameter and the base is 3 1/8" diameter.  The width is 5" wide.  There are hand panited flowers around the outside of the jar.  No chips, cracks, or breaks.  This is part of my mom's collection, she purchased it new in the early 1970's.  It has been in a curio cabinet for the entire time since then. 

Most of the items that I sell are antique or vintage as as such they do show signs of patina, use, and age.  That only adds to the character that so many collectors desire.  If there are any major issues or defects, I try to describe them to the best of my ability and as accurately as possible.  In the event that I do miss something with words, I provide you with plenty of pictures to be included as part of the description.
