Lock down special

I'm a genuine UK seller with UK stock! See my pictures, they don't have woodburners like mine in China! Check out my 100 percent feedback too.
I can get this to you usually within 3 or 4 days even during this lockdown .

OK so I've actually fitted this myself to a GT380 so that you can be assured that it fits!
This is the correct vacuum tap for the models listed and includes the correct flat sided rubber sealing gasket.
The original suzuki part number was 44300-33600  superseded by 44300-31050, 44300-31051, 44300-31052 and 44300-31054

Please note that this tap does NOT directly replace the 72-73 years of any of these bikes. Those years used a different fuel set-up with two outlet pipes. But, if your hole centres on your earlier bike are 43 44mm then you can use this with in line tee pieces though.

FITS YEAR/MAKE/MODEL:

1974-1977 SUZUKI GT380

1974-1977 SUZUKI GT550

1974-1977 SUZUKI GT750 water-cooled, water bucket

GT250

This is a brand new reproduced fuel tap for the 1970s Suzuki two stroke models listed be above. These have the primer setting so that you can prime the carbs without running the bike.

I have posted pictures of the one I'm selling and an original 1975 one for comparison.
Note that my tap has the fuel outlet on the right as does the original and the vacuum pipe on the rear instead of the bottom.
The casting of my taps is superb, the front plate has been made to look exactly like the original.
Nobody else is selling exactly the same taps as this in the UK!

Don't mess about trying to reseal your 50 year old original fuel tap. I've tried all that and it just doesn't last. They generally leak through the front. Also the seal kits are expensive too and cost nearly as much as this tap.

OK so this tap not original Suzuki but it is a much cheaper alternative than trying to get an original one. Remember that new old stock at £100 to £150 will actually be over 40 years old now!

My taps are as good as you are going to buy, I've searched high and low for a long time for taps for these bikes that are just right and these are the best!
I can guarantee that nothing else is available and will fit straight on to your blue smoker without modification of some sort.

I personally check each tap before dispatch for any casting errors and tightness of the tap.
To date, I have had no returns or issues with my supplier and manufacturer.

Fitting this will eradicate all the usual problems of the vacuum not working and fuel not flowing or leaking taps.

These taps look so similar to the originals only an anorak at a concourse would spot the difference... Actually I'm not sure that they would actually spot this !
Compare pictures 2 and 3 and see what you think.

Let me know if you want me to remove the arrow pointer on the lever to exactly match the original as we can fettle those off during our quality control process. Include this during your order PLUS MESSAGE ME SEPERATELY.

I can't guarantee these will last 50 years but if you are riding one of these bikes you are probably over 50 anyway and you ain't gonna be around for the next 50 years to find out or worry about it. Me neither!

Technical specifications:
These taps are very well made with very good casting material and tolerances, they are not made from 'monkey metal' like lots of other cheap taps are. I've bought them and the feed pipes break off.

Also they are not within the nearest 1cm etc that you may find non UK suppliers quoting!
I personally check every tap before dispatch for operation and I include additional helpful notes to help you fit this properly.

This will be a direct fit on bikes with only one fuel outlet with connecting pipes between the carbs.
Mounting Hole spacing is 43 / 44mm
Hole diameter is 6.5mm for your 6mm bolts
Connection to fuel line: 8 mm pipe
Vacuum connection: 5 mm pipe.

My taps don't have a filter bowl on the bottom but the internal syphon pipe is also a filter. I wouldn't recommend relying on that as you don't want to be removing this tap once it's fitted and sealed so I would recommend that you fit an inline filter too.

Please compare yours with my pictures rather than just looking at the list. Several people are selling taps for your 380, 550 and 750 but they have 34mm mounting hole spacing! Some others definately won't fit in the slot in your tank.
I can tell you now that you will be very disappointed and they obviously haven't ever seen or measured the real thing!
I think the originals were 43 mm

Mine are the only taps I know of that will fit in your tank, believe me I've seen and tried a few and there are some other nuances between the syphon tubes and hole spacings and diameters etc. that need to be considered.

Also fits GT250  model if you also fit a y piece.
