This High Quality Elaborate Huipil was Handwoven on a Back Strap Loom in the community of the San Andres Larrainzar in the Highlands of Chiapas. This is a striking Huipil with the details done in Jet Black on a Bright White base.  I purchased this huipil directly from Fidencia Pérez Hernández the Mayan woman who wove this extraordinary garment.  Please note the length is the back is longer than the length in the front... this is convent for those of use who need a little more coverage in the back... It's a real beauty!!!

It measures; 25 1/2 inches across (total 51 inches around) and the length in the front is 22 inches long and the length in the back is 26 inches Long.

This huipil will fit a Large to XL size woman.

The Back and Front are Identical...

This huipil is a great Statement piece reflecting various fashion trends; Boho Chic, Santa Fe Style, Hippie, Cow Girl, Frida Kahlo inspired an of course Traditional Mexican Fiesta wear!!!

This is a Win Win scenario. You get to own a beautiful hand woven Huipil, while supporting these Mayan women save their cultural heritage and traditions.
