Telcs Ede was born is a Jewish family in Hungary, studied sculpting very succesfully in Vienna art academy. Won many awards, his artworks in museums worldwide. Italy was his second home, most probably he met with Puccini. Also lived in Netherlands for some years. Very important pioneer of hungarian medal art. Read more on wikipedia.
