Vintage Extra Large Clear to Cranberry Glass Pedestal Tankard Pewter Top Enameled Flowers

Description:
This is for an extra large glass pedestal tankard with hinged pewter top. Clear glass to cranberry glass with enameled flowers & gold leaves. Tankard has spout for pouring. Measures about 14 & 1/2 inches tall, about 6 & 3/8th inches long from spout to handle and 5 inches wide. Some wear to gold and cranberry color due to age - as seen in pictures. No chips, cracks or repairs. The tankard does not seem to lay flat on surfaces, this could be solved by adding a felt bottom. Judging from the craftsmanship and molding of the glass, I strongly suspect it is an antique (i.e. a century+ old) but I cannot be certain. There is no makers mark. Can of soda used to illustrate scale in the last picture. Please view pictures as they accurately depict the beauty and condition of the piece. Jevansco, what is going on with shipping? Unfortunately the shipping container is going to be large: between the size of the item and wrapping. I never make a profit on shipping and shipping costs are my least favorite part about eBay. Shipping is especially egregious for California and Washington State as they are the furthest states from me.
