Pylopass is a patented Lactobacillus reuteri strain that specifically binds Helicobacter pylori in the stomach to reduce the number of bacteria. It consists of spray-dried L. reuteri cells and has a wide range of end-user applications.
Pylopass is a L. reuteri strain, identified after a detailed, multi-year screening process. It has been selected as a very specific binding agent of H. pylori among more than 700 species of Lactobacillus. Using a specific mechanism, Pylopass forms coaggregates with H. pylorito, reducing their number in the stomach.
The surface structures of Pylopass contain adhesion molecules that recognize and adhere to the surface structures of H. pylori.
Once the binding occurs in the stomach, the whole coaggregate is excreted from the body through the digestive tract. Pylopass only binds to H. pylori and does not change the microflora in the intestine.
Advantages of Pylopass over probiotics:
Stability of the product: Unlike probiotics, Pylopass consists of spray-dried cells. They can withstand fluctuations in the environment. When transporting and storing, Pylopass is not required to be kept in a refrigerator or refrigerated bag;
