Listing for ONE New BLACK Hard Acrylic Plastic Cap Clip screw.

The listing picture shows 2 Clip screws which fits all Conway Stewart models listed in the Title. The screw to the left- the Standard screw will fit well over 90% of these models.

 However,during the 1950's Conway Stewart decided to alter the top of the caps on some of the above listed models and a different screw was required,which involved securing with a Brass nut from the inside of the cap.(the screw to the right of listing picture).This later variant was always made of Aluminium and in nearly all cases,over time has corroded and fused to the Brass securing nut,usually with the clip a bit loose,the corrosion rendering tightening an impossibility !

I'm unsure exactly when Conway made this change and whether it applies to all the listed models, I've noticed it on the 58, though I don't handle that many Conways so I can't be more specific.
