This is a scarce/rare pre-1950s vintage rosary made of Bohemian faceted teardrop-shape crystal clear beads. These clear crystal beads are in-filled with multi-coloured 'swirls' ranging from blue, green, pink, red or yellow. We can say it reminds us of the many colours of the Aurora Borealis or the northern lights. The colours are in-filled and are therefore inside the clear glass and not just applied on the surface. The colours are thus added to the clear glass at some point of process. These are Bohemian beads are not made anymore. The beads are handmade and hand-faceted, no two beads are the same. They have irregular colours and shape, though everything harmonises as a whole. This rosary is also composed of three medals namely: a devotion to the Virgin Mother and Child, Sacred Heart of Jesus and to Our Lady of Fatima.
This vintage rosary is hard to find. It is a beautiful religious item which is ideal to give to your loved one. The whole rosary is also in very good vintage condition despite its age. It has been very well taken cared of. Please study all the details of this rosary:
Crucifix: is made of silver-tone metal in Art Nouveau style. The corpus is nailed to the cross frame. Size:4.5cm x 2.5cm

Beads: are pre-1950's Bohemian beads. These faceted teardrop crystal beads are overall clear in colour with infilled multi-colour swirls. The colours resemble the colours of the Aurora Borealis. They are also handmade and hand-faceted which distinguishes them from beads that are made with machine. Thus the beads are irregular in shape. They also have the feel of a handcut glass that has been smooth out by constant touch to the beads. Size: 7mm long, 7mm at widest point.
Center Medal: is a small silver medal in Art Nouveau style featuring the young Virgin Mother surrounded by lilies signifying her purity.
Medals:
The tiny gold-tone teardrop-shape medal nearest to the crucifix features the Madonna and Child Jesus in modernist style. Size: 10mm x 7mm
The octagonal shape goldtone medal features the Virgin Mother and Child. Reverse side features the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
The round shape silvertone pilgrimage medal features an image of Our Lady of Fatima. It is marked: 'NOSSA SENHORA DE FATIMA'. In Portuguese: (OUR LADY OF FATIMA).
The reverse side features the Sacred Heart of Jesus embraced in thorns. It is marked: O MEO CORACAO IMACULADO TRIUNFARA. (MY IMMACULATE HEART TRIUMPH).
