A Brand New (Old Stock) Miniature Replacement Adjustable 5K Ohm Log Volume Control With Inbuilt Switch Potentiometer For Collectible 1960's-1970's Transistor Radios And Other Appliances Rare. If you are into collecting of the larger vintage transistor radio's don't miss this hard to find restoration spare part!. Often in transistor radio's eventually over the years the volume control switch pot will begin to crackle and wear out, if you have a soldering iron its quite easy to change yourself. These are very hard to find now (and you can't just pop out to Dick Smith and get one anymore!). So if if you are a collector of transistor radio's hang on to them as they are rapidly increasing in price!, you may have one that would benefit from this spare component. This is a very common mini switch pot size for medium to larger transistor radio's of the 1960's and 1970's, it may even suit other classic audio and electronic appliances from the period like clock radios etc. The total length of the shaft from the base of the thread to the tip is 20mm, the length of the star cerated shaped part of the shaft alone is 14mm and the length of the thread section alone is approximately 6mm. You can examine my (last) photo to compare this control to your original before purchasing. This model has a split length easy to trim star shaft to suit most push on knobs but you can also modify and cut the side of the shaft to make a "D" type fitting to suit other push on and grub screw held knob types as well!. So don't miss this now out of production rare item for your classic audio equipment. Stocks are very limited, please contact me if you have any questions, thank you for viewing my listing.
