This is an antique set of 6 dining chairs. An English, mahogany and leather King chair and suite of 5 seats, dating to the Early Victorian period, circa 1850. 

  • A dining suite of fine antique distinction
  • Displaying a desirable aged patina and of appreciable good order
  • Select mahogany shows fine grain interest and dark russet hues
  • Seat pads upholstered in quality, comfortable leather with an inviting palette of olive green
  • Elegant King chair for the head of the table, with sinuous shaped arms and scrolled knuckles
  • Top rails arch gracefully with attractive Chippendale ears
  • Each chair graced with the dashing pierced lyre back splat, adorned with carved detail
  • The centrepiece of which, a plume of feathers - evoking the iconography of HRH, the Prince of Wales
