About Menghai Tax Factory:

The Menghai Tea Factory is located in Menghai County, Xishuangbanna Prefecture, Yunnan Province, China. The factory was government run from is founding in 1940 until the 1980s.  They use the brand name “Dayi” (大益) which is adopted when transitioning to a private company during the period from 1980-1990. The brand was officially registered in June 1989 and became the exclusive brand name they used in 1996 when the factory became fully private.

Brewing Puerh Tea:

Puerh Tea required boiling hot water of 95℃~100℃ or 208F.  How much tea to brew depend on personal taste, generally, 8 grams of tea is sufficient, and the proportion of tea to water between 1:50 to 1:30.
