This vintage, flocked, double-sided, Easter die cut is adorable! It is in very good condition, considering how long I have had it! I laminated it for durability! There are a few very subtle creases, but because the item has been laminated, they are difficult to see. There is also a tiny, dark speck on a wing, on the flocked side. It appears that this is due to a little something that got caught in between the die cut and the lamination. I have enclosed a closeup of this. And, there are a few pieces of transparent tape, up at the top of this decoration, under the lamination, as it was originally displayed using this before it was laminated. But, the tape is also difficult to see, as it blends right in with the lamination. This item comes from a smoke free home.
This die cut was made by Eureka. Though I have no date on it, I do know that it is a vintage item, as I have had it for quite some time. The decoration measures 17.5" in height and 13" at the widest part. All of the yellow areas are flocked on one side, though since it has been laminated it is difficult to tell. As the die cut is 2-sided, it has a hole in it for hanging, if you chose to do so.
This decoration features a happy, yellow, bright-eyed duck with long lashes, and orange beak, legs, and feet. She is standing in a clump of green grass with large, died eggs of pink, turquoise, and purple behind her. Wrapped around her forehead is a pink headband, with white geometric designs on it, tied into a bow that rests on the side of her head. In her wings, this cute duck is holding a big purple, turquoise, pink, and orange-striped Easter egg.
This die cut is rare and very hard to find! I have not seen any others currently selling online.
This item would make a wonderful addition to a classroom, office, or household to be displayed around Easter! I am hoping to find it a good home.
