SIZE: The printed area is approximately 33 x 41 cm (13 x 16 inches), folded in cover 9.5 x 12.5 cm (3.75 x 5 cm). Original colour on the map backed onto linen, folds into original green cloth rear cover, unfortunately the front cover is lost.
ARTIST/CARTOGRAPHER/ENGRAVER: Drawn and engraved by John and Charles Walker.
PROVENANCE: Published in Walker's 'this British Atlas', first published c.1836. This example being a first edition.
TYPE: Antique engraving printed on paper mounted on linen.
VERSO: There is nothing printed on the reverse side, which is blank.
