Vegeta (ベジータ, Bejīta) est l'un des personnages principaux de la licence. Il est le prince de la planète Vegeta, fils du Roi Vegeta. Il est le mari de Bulma et le père de Trunks et Bra.

Prince des Saiyans, il est d'abord introduit comme un antagoniste lors la Saga des Saiyans, avant de devenir progressivement un allié des héros lors de la Saga de Namek, puis l'un des protagoniste principaux dès la Saga des humains artificiels.

Orgueilleux, Vegeta devient l'incarnation de l'anti-héros, ainsi que le rival attitré de Son Gokû au cours de l'histoire.

Vegeta (ベジータ Bejīta), more specifically Vegeta IV (ベジータ四世 Bejīta Yonsei)^[7], recognized as Prince Vegeta (ベジータ王子 Bejīta Ōji) is the prince of the fallen Saiyan race and one of the main characters of the Dragon Ball series.

Regal, egotistical, and full of pride, Vegeta was once a ruthless, cold-blooded warrior and outright killer,but later abandons his role in the Frieza Force, instead opting to remain and live on Earth. His character evolves from villain, to anti-hero, then to hero through the course of the series, repeatedly fighting alongside the universe's most powerful warriors in order to protect his new home and surpass Goku in power.
