This auction is for a beautiful 1979 Mongoose survivor from in chrome, with freshly spray painted ashtabula bladed forks, a old school headset, a NOS 1980's Japan red seat clamp and a post, which was cut down and has rust on the top so it's upside down in the frame, but still works fine and displays nice.   There are minor issues with the seat tube mass which doesn't effect this from being display or event ridden, but must note.  There is a small crack to the right of the bottom of the factory seat tube separation cut and two vertical small cracks down from the top rim of the seat tube mass lip.   Obviously if you were to ride this hard it may increase the size of the cracks but it's fine for a normal everday cruiser or a display.  There are some areas where the chrome isn't super bright but overall still a nice survivor frame that I'd rate 7 out of 10 because of the seat tube mass issues.   Sorry don't have any stickers right now but you can buy them all day long here on ebay or at BMXProducts.com.     This will make a super cool nice display or daily rider for someone.   The forks were simply painted with a rattle can, not powder coated.    There is an area on the rear brake gusset next to the seat tube mass where the metal is bent inward, nothing serious but want to noted everything I see (Seem image).

Out of country Buyers : I'll sell this item out of country, but be aware the shipping quote by ebay is always wrong.  If you win from out of country don't pay until I send you an invoice.  I'll combine shipping, but will not listed the value of the part for less than what it sells for as I can't insure it if I do that.  Also there will be an automatic $13.00 on top of the shipping cost for tracking on all items worth over $100.  I don't ship to South America as I've been scammed to many times.

US Buyers: I try not to make money on shipping. I estimate what the highest shipping in the continental US will be, based on past cost and I set the price based on that.  I adjust for $1.00 to $2.00 in packaging supply cost etc.  Sometimes the final shipping cost is less and sometimes more than what I’ve set the shipping cost at.  I’m sorry but I can’t possibly get an exact shipping cost for every item after it’s sold, that would take days to do with 20 to 30 items being sold weekly.   With all this being said please don’t buy any of my items if you’re not happy with the quoted shipping cost, because I’m not going to refund over charges, or charge you for undercharges etc, because after all you know the shipping cost when you place your bid. I’m not trying to be rude, but it’s impossible to get the shipping cost right every time and it’s so frustrating when people buy an item that they know the shipping cost of an then complain about the shipping cost.    I buy many items on ebay and understand there’s no possible way to get the shipping cost correct every time and I wouldn’t ever think of complaining about a shipping cost that I knew about before I placed my bid, and I would hope fellow ebays would use the same rational when buying from me.

I always combine shipping just wait for an invoice, which I usually will have to you within two business days.
