publisher's imprint on all copyright pages. Near Fine with wear at heads and tails, tips a little rubbed, front hinges a little free, former owners' bookplates on paste downs of three of the volumes. German bookstore's stamp on title page of Vol. II of Borodino. Spines of first volume of Borodino and Vol. II of Before Tilsit a little rubbed and slightly dulled. Gilt generally very bright, cloth clean. An excellent, unsophisticated set of a true classic of Russian literature.
