Eclipse - Shadow of the Rift Expansion

The revolt of the ancients was overcome and an uneasy peace was agreed upon. But suddenly everything changes. Various new factions rise up and disrupt the status quo. The Unity nanomachines bend energy and matter to their will and the shaper ships tear apart the fabric of space-time, while the previously insignificant Octantis factions continue to make major leaps in development. It seems as if the simplest rules of the universe no longer apply.

The Eclipse: Shadow of the Rift expansion introduces various new mechanics, such as time distortions, evolution and anomalies, as well as new rare technologies, developments and discoveries.

The modular design means all or just some of these additions can be added to a game of Eclipse, depending on player preference and play style. The expansion does not require the Rise of the Anciencts expansion, but is fully compatible with it.

Attention: The expansion is in English and can only be played with the base game Eclipse.
