Thank you for purchasing from us. We are pleased you have chosen Arthauss for your furniture purchase and we will do our best to meet your service expectations. Please read the following information carefully.

Delivering our products is just as important to us, if not more important, than sourcing the products themselves. Delivering a damaged item doesn't make us look good! This is the reason why we deliver goods by our own vans and employ own drivers who are very friendly and helpful.

The furniture is brand new and packed in its original packaging. It is delivered flat packed for self-assembly.

Please bear in mind that the manufacturer only provides pictorial instructions - there are no written instructions. If you wish to see the manual before purchasing, please contact us and we will send it to you.


PLEASE BE AWARE: We start very early in the morning. Goods are delivered 7 days per week between 6.00am and 8.00pm. We are unable to give a specific time slot during the day but we will notify you if you are one of the first points of drop. Once you agree to accept the delivery and for any reason you are not present at delivery address, we reserve the right to apply re-delivery charge of £40.00.


It is buyer's responsibility to make easy access for a delivery i.e. leave appropriate instructions if the property is gated and has concierge. Our delivery is to the GROUND FLOOR ONLY, goods are not carried upstairs, unless there is a suitable and accessible lift and items will fit inside it. 

You can book additional service if you wish to have it delivered to your property in case you live on 1st floor and above (multi-storey building). This is a subject of £20 charge (1st and 2nd floor) or £40 (3rd and 4th floor). We are unable to deliver to a specific room within a house.

 

Please Be Aware: Mainland UK Delivery Only. Delivery to AB, DD, IV, HS, KW, PA, PH, PL, TR is Unavailable.

 

Our delivery crew is unaccompanied and is unable to move or take away any of buyer’s personal belongings to arrange space. Please be advised that our delivery team MUST wear protective shoes at all the time within your premises. On wet rainy days, it is advisable to have an old bath towel/mat made available for our staff to wipe their shoes upon before entering your premises.

The customer will be ALWAYS notified minimum 2 days prior to the delivery. The driver will also call on the number you provided minimum half an hour prior to arrival as a reminder to ensure that somebody is available in the property.


If a package or a piece of furniture is damaged, please contact us and you will get a replacement as soon as possible. This right is not extinguished, if you have erected the furniture. In the unlikely event of damaged, faulty or incorrect goods we will rectify the error by sending replacement goods or parts.

We do not take responsibility for incorrectly assembled items or any damages occurred during the assembly process.

Following cancellation of your order any monies paid will be refunded by the method you used to pay us and usually within 3 days from the day after you inform us of your decision. 


RETURNS

 

Distance Selling Regulations only apply to your order if the goods have not been custom made to your specification or if you have not examined the product in our showroom. If the Distance Selling Regulations do apply you can cancel your furniture by notifying us in writing, before delivery or within 30 days beginning with the day after the date of delivery.

Should you wish to return the goods it is your responsibility to take good care of the furniture. You are the owner of the furniture once it has been delivered to you and you are liable for any loss or damage.

Goods must be returned in original packaging and it is buyer responsibility to return the items to our central warehouse in a good condition.

We are unable to offer collection service.

Failure to take reasonable care may result in a claim against you. To minimise the risk of any such claim we ask that you return the goods in appropriate packaging such as to prevent damage in transit.

Refund will be issued once the goods has been inspected for any damages and missing pieces. 

Please remember: ITEMS PARTIALLY OR FULLY ASSEMBLED CANNOT BE RETURNED FOR A FULL REFUND.
