These PCBs are suitable for all SMD packages meeting SO, SOP and SOIC P 1.27 specifications and have been designed for use with turned pin headers so they will work as a direct replacement for the equivalent DIP ICs. They are also compatible with standard 0.1" prototype boards and through hole PCB's, as well.

The header pins on one side will need to be shortened to allow the SMD chip to be soldered in to place.
