THE NAMED PLAYERS ONLY. From a set of 101 cards including 91 regular player and 10 cartoon game cards. Slightly smaller than standard size at 2-1/4" x 3-1/2".

This was produced by Ultimate Line Up and released as part of a game. The stated object of the game is to be the first participant to form a team of MLB players. Apparently not too popular as a game, this issue is already challenging to find. The complete set is listed in the Beckett Almanac (BA5) at $80.00.

TEAM OUT was NOT issued as complete set but in a box of 60 with a random assortment of 37 player cards and an additional 23 action (red) or protection (blue) Cartoon cards.

The player positions are featured prominently on the fronts and there are several levels of short printed (SP) positions. This means that ALL players at SOME positions are short printed compared to the most common position.

As this issue was not distributed by normal card hobby sources and only in random assortments including the short prints, some key players are quite challenging to locate.
