The L7805 is a three-terminal positive voltage regulator available in TO-220 package. These voltage regulators are perfect for easy integration into your PCB or use with a breadboard power supply. With the input voltage of 7 VDC to 25 VDC, these regulators provide a steady output of 5 VDC. They also feature built in thermal overload protection to ensure safe shutdown in the event of over demand or improper heat dissipation helping to protect your project from damage.
