Delightful pattern for 18"/19" Girl Dolls Lace edged skirt, strap top and jacket.
18"/19" will fit New Sindy, Gotz, Design-a-Friend, American Girl.
Knitted on size 3.50 mm needles.
Like most of my patterns this isn't a difficult project, I like to design with the novice and the experienced knitter in mind!
The whole outfit takes two 100 grams of James C Brett Twinkle D/K wool, (lovely sparkles in the wool),. You will need to buy two different coloured balls if you want a two coloured outfit.
Tension 22sts and 30 rows to 4" .....( just in case you want to use wool from your stash!)
The trendy jacket is knitted with sleeves incorporated, on straight needles.
The skirt is knitted side to side with the waistband added later.
The top is a simple one piece knit with straps added.
What little girl could want more for her doll?
My Grand daughter loves her 18"Girl Doll but she finds the fabric clothes cost too much to buy from her pocket money, (and difficult for little fingers to put on and take off!), so she asked her 'Knitting Nanny Mo' to design and knit some for her. This is an outfit designed for the 'party season'!
