All of our wheelchair ramps are listed on eBay without VAT. 

Individuals with long term disabilities in mainland UK and registered UK charities are not required to pay VAT on mobility aid. Following your purchase please message us with the full name and disability of the person which the ramp If you are a charity please provide the full charity name and number.

If you are not VAT exempt, for example if you are a company, please also let us know and we will send you a PayPal request for the VAT amount. Your order will be processed on receipt of this message. 

To identify if the ramp is suitable we recommend checking the vertical height of your step, kerb or threshold and the width of your doorway. Please also consider who will be using the ramp, for example manual wheelchairs, electric wheelchairs or walkers. 

Rubber Threshold Ramps 

Our rubber threshold ramps vary in width depending on your chosen height. You can reduce the width with a stanely knife or saw if required. The ramps are suitable for manual wheelchairs, electric wheelchairs, scooters and walkers. 

Bridge Ramps

Please note our aluminium bridge ramps are only suitable for manual wheelchairs unless otherwise stated. It is important the vertical height on either side of the threshold is the same to ensure these sit properly. 

We understand choosing a ramp isn't simple, you do have to consider what you are loading, the weight of the load and the ramp length you require. Our team are available to assist you to choose the right ramp for your loading needs, whether you are loading a wheelchair over steps, a motorbike into a van or a digger into your trailer.

Items which are ordered prior to midday are dispatched the same day. Delivery is free across mainland UK. All items are sent on a tracked 1-2 working day delivery service, tracking details are provided to you once the item leaves our warehouse. We use a variety of couriers including Parcel Force, DX and Pallet Track.

Whilst the majority of our items arrive on time we do rely on couriers so it cannot be guaranteed, unfortunately. If your item is delayed please do sent us a message so our team can assist.

We offer a 60-day returns policy on our items, if you wish to return the item please message us via eBay.

Returns 

Returning your order to us

We understand that in some instances, customers will need to return an item due to a change in circumstances, incorrect sizing or simply changing their mind. Here at The Ramp People we offer a 60 day money back guarantee on all purchases; however, there will be circumstances where a return is not possible. So as to remain transparent with our customers, we have detailed our returns policy below to answer any queries you may have about the process.

Here are the most common circumstances for returns and how we can help;

Change of mind, wrong size or unsuitable item

Sometimes an item is not what you imagined, it doesn?t fit or you just don?t need it any more. In these circumstances, we are happy to offer an exchange or a full refund, no quibble of course, if the item is returned in its original condition, including original packaging, and within 60 days from date of receipt. Please note, items which are advertised as 'built to order', or customised items are non-returnable and non-refundable. 

Please take care when returning an order to us as all customers are in charge of the item?s return and covering the cost. We recommend you use a tracked, insured returns method so as to ensure a secure transit.

For an exchanged item, please make a note on the returns form that you wish to exchange the product or message us via eBay. We can deliver new items within our standard delivery policy. Unwanted items should be sent back to our address marked 'Returns Department', you are responsible for organising the return to us.

Item incorrect or damaged on arrival

Upon delivery, please do not sign for the goods unless you are happy with the condition of the product.

We pride ourselves on our excellent customer care and service delivery, however, if an unfortunate incident occurs where you believe you have been sent the wrong item please call us immediately on 01372 569051 or message us via eBay. 

For damaged items, please supply proof of damage with a photo and message it to us via eBay along with your order number. For any incorrect deliveries, we will always check the part numbers on your order due to using different names for marketing and warehouse storage ? we can then arrange for the correct item to be delivered whilst the unwanted item is collected and brought back to us.

A refund or replacement can only be processed once we have received all unwanted items and confirmed any damage.

Faulty items

In the unlikely event of an item becoming faulty, please view our guarantee policies in our terms and conditions.

If your item is within our warranty, we will be able to collect it to either repair or replace, however this can only be done once we have confirmed the fault. If you urgently need the item returned, we advise placing a new order and await the refund for the faulty item.
