Wristwatch Rocket 24 hours: the most famous watches produced at the Petrodvorets watch factory Raketa since the early 60's. These were special models for special orders. They were exclusive until the end of perestroika, because they were made especially for those who could not distinguish between day and night: polar explorers, submariners, astronauts and others.

1960's Rare Soviet legendary watch RAKETA USSR - SERVICED

Raketa (Russian: Paкeтa) brand watches have been manufactured since 1962, first in the Soviet Union and now in Russia, by the Petrodvorets Watch Factory in Saint Petersburg, the oldest factory in Russia. It was founded by Peter the Great in 1721 as the Peterhof Lapidary Works to make hardstone carvings. Raketa watches were produced for the Red Army, the Soviet Navy, for North Pole expeditions, as well as for civilians.
