10 wild-caught (the same day I ship) live Pk ghost shrimp (freshwater Mississippi Grass Shrimp, Palaemonetes kadiakensis) for planted aquariums or outdoor container/pond stocking.

This is the only truly freshwater shrimp species that is cold hardy enough to be stocked throughout the majority of the country.  All other grass shrimp species are either brackish water species or not sufficiently cold hardy. These make excellent forage food for game fish.  On multiple occasions I have seen panfish ignoring worms, crickets, and minnows completely, and the one person fishing with grass shrimp was catching fish.

I catch these shrimp from my pond in north Louisiana, 35 miles south of the Arkansas border, by order, so they are not starving or stressing for months before-hand in a holding tank. This area has had ice on non-flowing waterways 3 out of 4 of recent winters, with lows of 12F, 14F, 15F, and 7F in 2013, 2014, 2017, and 2018.  These are the same species of shrimp that range all the way up to the southern marshes of Lake Erie and as far west as southern Minnesota.

I ship in bags filled with clean water and pure oxygen.  Live arrival is guaranteed-- cold and hot weather shipping is not an issue as I insulate heavily and use ice packs in summer.  I always include plenty of extras to make up for the few that may not be up for the stresses of being shipped.
