This buy it now auction is for a carved wooden model of a boat.It would appear to be a Chinese type vessel perhapsa sampan or junk.It is nicely detailed with pierced striped decoration and the base is in contrasting black colour.

Although I believe the boat to be Chinese I am unable to be precise about its origins.It May have been made in China but of course the subject of the item does not necessarily mean its origins are the same.It appears to be vintage but I am unable to be precise about it age.

Condition is very good with no damage.
