This is a 1974 Fender Stratocaster. It comes in its original case with instruction manual, polishing cloth, vibrato bar, pack with extra springs, and bridge ashtray.

The guitar weighs 8.3 lbs and is everything you would expect a 70's Strat to be. The frets are in good shape and have plenty of life left. It has been freshly cleaned and setup with 10's and feels great. the guitar has all of it's original parts and nothing has been changed.

The guitar is in surprisingly good condition. It has checking in the paint throughout, a little bit of wear on the underside of the neck in the first few positions, and one or two dings/bumps/bruises which are mostly all pictured.  It's not mint, but it's a solid 9.

All the electronics are original, as stated, and all 3 of the pickups sound strong and are musical. the pots are dated the 39th week of 1974. 2 of the pickups are grey bottom and also dated 39th week of 74, the bridge pickup is a black bottom. I went on a huge internet deep dive and found numerous examples of black bottom and grey bottom pickups being in the same guitar from Fender around this time. The wiring looks Kosher and it is my opinion that all three pickups are original to this guitar.

The bad: It looks like the middle pickup was removed by cutting the wires, and then spliced back in. Why? I have no idea?? There is also something going on the pickguard where the selector switch is, this can be seen in the last picture. it has a red circle and then a small hole? I don't know what's going on there.. The pickguard does appear to be original.

This is a very nice guitar all things considered and is actually quite the player.
