Photograph Notes: The twin-arched pack-horse bridge may have originated in the 13th century. Over the years it has been reconstructed and adapted by local people for carrying goods. The bridge is not falling over as its precarious appearance suggests but has withstood constant use and powerful floods over the centuries.
