Photograph Notes: The rear view of the Hathorn Davey inverted vertical triple expansion pumping engine. This was back in steam for a special recommissioning event. At the top are the two large reheaters that use the superheated steam from the boilers to reheat steam between the high and intermediate pressure cylinders and between the intermediate and low pressure cylinders. One of the steam traps is seen on one of the cast standards and one of the two flywheels is seen at the far end.
