Loose stems, no weights or lead, no roots

Stem plants which will grow roots in a matter of weeks

Elodea densa (Now called Egeria densa) is an ideal plant for your pond. It will help with reducing nitrate in your tank and will improve water conditions for your fish.

These plants are stem plants which do not have roots.  Stem plants are on average around 5 to 8 inches in length. This is the most common form of aquatic plant, and once planted in the aquarium will soon grow roots and new leaves assuming correct care and attention is provided.  Simply drop into pond or aquarium and plants will soon grow.  Fast growing species once established.  Ensure tops of plants are within 6 inches of water surface to provide enough light for the species

The plants shown in the photo are in an established tank with enhanced lighting to show what can be achieved.  You can achieve similar colour and growth from the plants you receive, assuming correct care and attention is provided.

You are buying stem plants (no roots).  Each stem plant will be around 5 to 8 inches in length.  These are loose stems, they are not weighted, or bunched.  They can be planted straight into the aquarium or pond substrate, weighted as required or left to float on the water surface.
