Millais Culpin FRCS was an English physician and psychotherapist. He originally entered the field of industrial medicine but found himself in London studying "shell shock" during and after the war. He is considered a pioneer in the field of mental abnormality research and an early thinker in psychology. Fantastic piece of very rare history for any psychology collector.

Condition Notes:
I can't find another example of this book with a dust jacket. This one unfortunately does have some moisture damage as well as missing sections ton off top and bottom of the DJ around the spine. The Hardcover wrap is very good but does have some shelf wear as well as a small dent on the bottom. Inside you can see moisture damage on the front and back, likely from glue bleed. The pages however are perfect. Clean, no writing, no marks, no creases, no damage at all. Tight binding all pages there. Stamp in the back from the UK import service I believe. Purchased in the U.S. by a book collector.
