This rare 1800s tea pot is a seated gentleman with one hand on his side forming a handle and his other arm in the air forming the spout.  If you look at his hand resting on his side and count, you can see 5 fingers and a thumb.  The man has a smile on his face and is wearing a vest, bow tie and top coat.  In firing, there was a piece of white pottery that exploded in the kiln, there are pieces of white clay under the glaze on this gent.  Measuring 7 ½” in height, this is in original mint condition with no post production or repairs.
