For sale today is different package levels of the NES 101 Tim Worthington NES-RGB board kit for your NES 101 TOP loader. Below is a quick description of what you get with each level.

THIS BACK PLATE IS DESIGNED TO WORK WITH THE DB-ELECTRONICS SNES-AV MULTI OUT board. When installed with DB-electronics AV board, there is a 3mm clearance between the A/v Board and the game cartridge's protector shroud. This should give you just enough room to bend wires downward after they are soldered. See the last picture for the gap.

FYI: I do not include directions for how to modify your system with your chips/boards, This is just a parts kit to make life easier.

A few quick notes!   Use hot glue (or some other thick low-flow glue to keep the selector switch in the casing after you've installed it. DO NOT try to use super glue (its very watery and if it drips down inside the selector switches internals you'll be out a switch, I guarantee you from experience!).

ALSO this 3d printed back perfectly fits a standard sized Nintendo AV cable. There's some room the left and right if your custom RGB cable is slightly wider, but height wise, the snes cable just fits perfectly, if your custom cable has a 'much' bigger plug on the end, it may not fit in this design. Measure the height of your plug box and make sure its close to the original cable size.

Lastly, if you buy one of the packages that comes with the DB circuit board be advised there maybe small points that need sanding (from where they are broken off the PCB). so have a file or fingernail file handy, they come this way from the PCB manufacturer.

This backplate is designed to be used with these parts from Digi-key electronics:

A/C power plug jack US systems:
CONN PWR JACK 2X5.5MM SOLDER - Part number: CP-037AH-ND

The DB-Electronics circuit board

Screw for the above board:
Part number: 36-7689-1-ND  ( this uses a M3x0.5 screw max overall length of 7.5mm (if you source your own make sure the thread length is NOT longer than 6mm)

3-way selector switch for palette switching:
SWITCH SLIDE SP3T 300MA 30V - Part number: CKN10371-ND

Package #1 is JUST the 3d printed back plate! Nothing else! if you've got everything else you need then this back kit is all you need. It will attach to your NES 101 top loader board where the
R/F adapter is/was after you've removed it. It is printed in a 'light grey' that does not match the original, but in normal lighting it doesn't look that jarring/bad (just in the light box it really shows the color difference).   This back plate is designed for use with the db-electronics Snes-Av rev 0.1 board.
Beyond that, this is a customized back plate, that allows for a 3 way slider switch to control palette, and a 9v plug.

Package #2 is the same 3d printed back plate, But also included is the DB-electronics SNES-AV out board (printed from osh park so you know its quality!!), a 3 way selector switch to allow all 3 palettes to be accessed, a specialized M3 screw that clamps the DB board down and keeps it in place and a properly sized 9v A/C plug-box (USA sized).
With this package all you need is your 101 and your NESRGB board and you're pretty much ready to go! (if you dont need/want supports for your board! if you do, then look down to package #3)

Package #3 Is the full meal deal! It contains EVERYTHING package #2 does, but also includes the 3d printed support brackets for your Tim Worthington NES RGB board inside the nes 101. When you do the install utilizing the Socket kits and all the board stands pretty tall and could tilt towards the cartridge's slot over time or if you accidentally drop it! (or ship it) after all only solder is holding it in place, I dont like to stress my solder joints so I modeled these support brackets to hold the board in place! You just remove your motherboard screws and set these in place, then screw them back in and now your NES RGB board will have some support! Included with these 2 supports is 2 small screws to mount board to them. (Remember only lightly finger tight! do not force too hard or the plastic can strip)

Any package above will be shipped via usps first class with tracking!
