This item for sale is a beautiful example of Rampage from 1989. Not to be confused with earlier (Heavy Metal Figure). This Rampage is easily identifiable due to the lack of facial hair or 5 o clock shadow. This Rampage has never been played with and only as a display piece.
In 1989, Heavy Metal was available through mail-order from Hasbro Direct. However, he was no longer referred to as Heavy Metal but as "Rampage."
As Rampage is actually leftover stock from Brazil, the figure differs
from Heavy Metal in several ways. Most noticably, the face of Rampage
lacks the painted face that Heavy Metal has. The "shadow" is painted on
Heavy Metal's face, but not on Rampage. Rampage is also made of a very
different plastic than Heavy Metal - the colors are much darker.
Lastly, while Rampage came with the same submachine gun as Heavy Metal,
he did not come with the communications piece.
This Rampage is complete with his weapon. Rampage is a very rare figure and is hard to find in a condition such as this one. Rampage did not come packaged with a microphone like Heavy Metal did. This would be a great figure to have graded if it is what you choose to do.
The paint is in near perfect condition and can be seen in the provided pictures for clarification.
The movement of head arms and legs are very tight without damage or wear. All decals are full and intact without chipping.
